Beyond Education: My Journey in Paris with Mexoxo Alumni

Paris was magical, but what truly made this journey unforgettable was sharing it with these incredible Mexoxo Alumni: Io, Katerina, Vasso, and Sophia. From the moment we arrived, an energy of excitement, curiosity, and support seemed to follow us through every street, café, and hidden corner of the city.

Our historic walking tour was more than sightseeing—it was the start of a deep connection. As we wandered past Notre-Dame, Pont Neuf, and the quieter, poetic corners of Paris, each woman brought her own spark: Io, capturing the soul of every moment with her creative eye, Katerina, offering thoughtful presence and genuine curiosity, Vasso, lighting up our days with warmth and humor, Sophia, guiding us with confidence and an explorer’s spirit.

Together, their energies blended into a harmony that shaped the journey.

A standout moment was visiting L’Oréal Headquarters, where Janyce and Leo welcomed us warmly. Conversations about empowerment, leadership, collaboration, and innovation reminded us of the purpose behind our work and the powerful impact we create when we come together.

Our mornings over shared breakfasts became little rituals, setting the tone for days full of discovery. At the Musée d’Orsay, we stood together before artworks celebrating women’s creativity and resilience, each of us seeing a reflection of our own journey. Evenings were filled with laughter, deep conversations, and a closeness that made it feel as if we had known each other for a lifetime.

On our final day, gazing at the Eiffel Tower from Galeries Lafayette, I realized—Paris wasn’t just a destination. It had become a space of growth, joy, and connection.

I return home with a heart full of gratitude and memories I will carry for years. Traveling with Io, Katerina, Vasso, and Sophia reminded me how powerful shared experiences can be. Their energy, curiosity, and warmth turned every moment into something meaningful, and their presence made this journey truly shine.
